The GFA PNG National Game Fishing Titles returns in 2026, with Kimbe, West New Britain, set to host this prestigious event. Recognized as Papua New Guinea’s premier game fishing competition, the Titles bring together anglers and boats from across PNG and overseas for a week of fishing, friendship, and fun.
Teams of 2–4 anglers will compete over two days of fishing, testing their skill, teamwork, and endurance on Kimbe’s world-class waters. The excitement continues with the Billfish Shootout — a one-day challenge to land the heaviest billfish and claim bragging rights among PNG’s best.
From calm early mornings on the water to lively evenings at the weigh-ins, the Kimbe Titles promise an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Whether you’re a regular on the circuit or joining for the first time, there’s no fishing event quite like the GFA PNG National Titles.
Join the GFA PNG 49th National Game Fishing Titles in Kimbe!
To participate in the GFA PNG 49th National Game Fishing Titles, all anglers must be members of a fishing club affiliated with the International Game Fishing Association (IGFA) — either from Papua New Guinea or overseas.
If you’re not yet a member, you can easily join by becoming a member of the San Remo Game Fishing Club (SRGFC) before registering for the National Game Fishing Titles.
Once you’ve joined, simply complete your angler registration using the online booking form below.
